This course helps students select appropriate guns for recreation, sport, and defense. It is oriented primarily toward handguns and shotguns. Students explore the three key factors related to firearm selection: function, familiarity, and fit. Students will examine and handle various types of guns in the classroom. Guns are available at the end of the classroom session for test firing on the range. Students are responsible for purchasing ammunition to test guns.
